This recipe is prepared with fresh extra virgin olive oil, sometimes directly at the mill. It’s a simple recipe that exalts the quality of Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, its fruity aftertaste and its strong flavour!
Ingredients: Tuscan bread, garlic, Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, salt and, if you like, black pepper.
Preparation:
- Put the bread slices on a hot grill.
- Grill the slices on both sides, being careful not to burn them.
- Rub garlic on each slice.
- Season with salt and, if you like, pepper, then add a generous amount of fresh extra virgin olive oil over the slices; if you don’t have fresh extra virgin olive oil you may also use a good Tuscan extra virgin olive oil.
- Serve immediately, when it’s still hot.
